Working in a sampler format, both beginners and those looking to develop existing skills will benefit from this great class. You will work on six different piecing techniques. Geary will guide you every step of the way. She'll spend time on different setting options to make your Sampler Quilt the most creative around. You can even incorporate orphan blocks you already have that may need a good home! All levels welcome.

Often called a Disappearing Nine Patch, the Tossed Nine Patch looks way more complicated than it is. Start with a simple Nine Patch, then watch the magic happen as you slice and re-sew. Simple enough for a beginner with basic cutting and sewing, but fun color play for those with more experience. All levels welcome.

She'll demonstrate both traditional and contemporary styles of binding: bias-cut and straight-grain, hand and machine finishing, traditional or artistic. Class Policies
  • Pre-registration is required. Class size is limited, so enroll early to assure your place in class. Either register at the store or by mail or phone with a credit card. Payment must accompany registration.
  • You will receive a supply list when you register. You will also receive a 25% Discount on any pattern, tool or book required for the class.
  • Attendance at class is the responsibility of the student. If you cancel at least 4 days before the class, you will be issued a store credit. If you cannot attend, you are welcome to send a friend in your place.
  • Classes may be subject to cancellation if a minimum number of students do not enroll. If Quiltwork Patches must cancel, we will mail you a refund (or you can take a store credit if you prefer).
  • You are expected to know how to operate your machine and to have it in good working order.
  • Please do not bring food or drink with you to class. Water is always welcome.
